The team: The Global Markets Securitised Products Group (GMSP) provides secured funding solutions to clients backed by a broad range of asset classes, covering banks, private equity firms, specialist lenders and asset managers. Sitting on the private side, GMSP has a hybrid banking/FICC lens, with an origination strategy focused on cross collaboration with Global Corporate and Investment Banking. Programme Overview The GMSP program includes formal training and assignments across the Real Estate Structured Finance and Asset Backed Securities Finance / Residential Mortgages Backed Securities finance businesses. Responsibilities: - Assist with day-to-day transaction needs, including transaction monitoring and deal preparation - Assist in preparing client pitch books, marketing materials and internal credit papers - Learn how to analyse credit risk and model structured credit transactions - Attend client meetings to build your network and experience - Assess market trends and provide quantitative data for the team Eligibility Candidates are required to be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a completion time frame between September 2027 and July 2028. On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent). What we are looking for: - Finance and/or law related degree a plus - Extensive knowledge of Excel - Effective verbal and written communication - Detail oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills - Solid leadership, team, communication, and interpersonal skills - Can multitask and prioritize in a demanding environment - A track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities
