The team: Our Global Markets (GM) Summer Analyst programme gives interns maximum exposure to the various products across FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities) and Equities. Programme Overview Interns work in an exciting and fast paced environment, fully supported by managers, buddies, mentors and Global Markets colleagues, with the opportunity to complete three rotations across Sales, Trading, Structuring, and Platform and Electronic Trading. Responsibilities, by rotation: Sales: Supporting the salesforce in daily activities, gaining exposure to client relationship management, preparing marketing material and client presentations, exploring sales leads, delivering analytical projects around client profitability and market trends. Trading: Supporting traders in daily activities, shadowing senior team members, undertaking mock trading, analysing client and market data, following and analysing macro and company-specific events in real time. Structuring: Supporting senior structurers, traders and salesforce, gaining front-to-back exposure of GM transactions, delivering projects around topical themes across asset classes with Quants or Research. Platform and Electronic Trading: Discovering how the Platform team collaborates with clients, Sales and Trading, Quants and Technology; learning about the cross-asset electronic trading platform; gaining exposure to automation, pricing, and optimization projects; building a prototype application. Eligibility Candidates are required to be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a completion time frame between September 2027 and July 2028. On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent). What we are looking for Essential: - Demonstrate drive, innovation and a genuine interest in the financial markets - Team-working, leadership and problem-solving skills, plus creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and interact with a variety of people - Demonstrates accountability and productivity, displays analytical and problem-solving skills - Influences decisions and outcomes through effective communication and interpersonal skills - Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team environment - Demonstrates integrity and ethics Desired: - Programming experience and strong technical skills - Fluency in German, Dutch or other relevant European languages may be advantageous for certain roles - Degree backgrounds in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar quantitative disciplines - Ability to combine technical excellence with strong communication and relationship-building skills
