The team: Bank of America's Global Capital Markets (GCM) business comprises Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Leveraged Finance (LevFin) and Sustainable Solutions Group (SSG). Clients include investment grade and sub-investment grade corporates, financial institutions, private equity firms and sovereign, supranational and sovereign (SSA) issuers. This London-based internship is within Leveraged Finance, whose products include bonds and loans to support M&A, LBO, Take-Private, Dividend Recapitalization and Refinancing. Programme Overview Our Off-Cycle Analyst programme is designed to offer a broad and exciting experience of what it is like to work as a full-time Capital Markets analyst. Successful applicants to this London programme will be assigned to the Leveraged Finance team, involved in originating and executing a wide variety of debt solutions for clients alongside GCM partners and Corporate and Investment bankers. Responsibilities: - Originating and executing non-investment grade debt transactions for both private equity and corporate clients - Developing a strong understanding of credit and market fundamentals - Designing highly tailored presentations for clients - Interacting directly with clients and other external parties - Working on live transactions with direct client and investor exposure - Working closely with Investment Banking industry teams on live transactions Eligibility Candidates must have already received or be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree. For candidates who have already graduated, the graduation date must be after January 2026. For candidates still pursuing a degree, completion must be before July 2027. On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent. Candidates must be available to join the programme from Monday 11th January 2027 for four months with an option to extend by 2 months; if offered full-time, must be available to join the graduate programme from July 2027. No deferred start dates.
