Baillie Gifford's 2027 graduate route for investment research is a permanent role in Edinburgh where new analysts research companies to support long-term client returns. Over the programme they complete year-long placements across the firm's autonomous investment teams, learning valuation and analysis with mentors and buddies, and the firm pays for study toward the Investment Management Certificate and CFA Level I. Applicants need a degree at 2:1 or 2:2 level (the advert words the bar as higher for postgraduate holders), and those with extra relevant work experience but no degree are also welcome. To apply, submit the online form, a CV and an answer to one scored question, and the firm states it does not use AI in recruitment.
