Full job description

A Financial Controller internship within AXA's Group Tax Department at AXA Group Headquarters (GIE AXA) in Paris, starting 1 October 2026. AXA Group Headquarters brings together the group's corporate functions, coordinating strategy and governance for subsidiaries across the world. As an intern you would help calculate and check compliance with the OECD's global minimum tax (Pillar 2), including simulation work, data collection and analysis, accuracy checks, and coordination with AXA entities; review tax appendices for the annual report as part of the FY2026 closing process; monitor and control the Galaxy tool used to track the group's participations; contribute to tax-transparency outputs such as Country-by-Country Reporting and AXA's transparency report; and support the wider team with presentations, research and organisation. AXA is looking for candidates in their final year of a Business School, Engineering School or University (or on a gap year), ideally with some prior finance or data-analysis experience, good command of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI, and fluency in both French and English for daily professional use.
