Full job description
This placement is in the Analytical Technical Team of a Quality Control function and focuses on using automation, AI and data analysis to make QC laboratories more productive and sustainable, including planning and running a proof-of-concept study of the student's own design and updating stakeholders on progress. Applicants must currently be undergraduate or integrated master's students in science, IT, data science or engineering, with the chance to spend a year in industry starting September 2027. It is a 12-month fixed-term contract in Macclesfield, paying a £28,000 base salary plus bonus and flexible benefits, with a start date of 6 September 2027.
