Full job description
This placement is advertised for the Macclesfield and Cambridge sites and involves analytical support for drug development, working with synthetic chemists, formulation scientists and engineers and gaining exposure to techniques such as HPLC, GC, NMR, LC-MS and XRPD while following safety and quality requirements. Applicants must currently be undergraduate students in chemistry or a related discipline such as natural sciences, able to be on campus about 36.5 hours a week Monday to Friday, with the chance to spend a year in industry starting September 2027. It is a 12-month fixed-term contract in Macclesfield or Cambridge, paying a £28,000 base salary plus bonus and flexible benefits, with a start date of 6 September 2027.
