Full job description
Candidates who prefer not to do a summer placement can apply for a standalone assessment centre day in Bristol as their route to a 2029 training contract. The Bristol day is on 3 June 2027. The two-year contract is made up of four six-month seats, and there is a choice between a Bristol-based or South West-based contract. Eligibility is at least second year of a law degree, or at least third year of a non-law degree, and only one application (summer scheme or assessment day, one office) is allowed. Applications open 1 November 2026 and close 31 March 2027, with an online form followed by a critical thinking test. Ashfords says it cannot currently sponsor applicants without the legal right to work in the UK.
