An entry-level Graduate Analyst role on AlphaSights' Strategy & Analytics team in London, with an immediate start date.

Full job description

As an Analyst in AlphaSights' Strategy & Analytics team, you will play a key role in enabling senior leadership to make better-informed, data-driven decisions that further the growth of the business, supporting company-wide strategic initiatives with data-driven performance measurement and analytically grounded decision-making. Based in London, you will work with employees across the organisation, regionally and functionally, to execute strategic projects, and will learn from colleagues with backgrounds in management consultancy, corporate strategy and data analytics. Responsibilities include data analysis (extracting data from proprietary systems, performing quantitative analyses and drawing insights); executive communication (presenting insights to senior leaders to guide strategic decisions); domain ownership (owning the business results and impact of strategic initiatives from ideation through implementation); and process management (owning processes such as market benchmarking, budgeting and talent analytics). This is an entry-level role: no prior work experience is necessary, though relevant internships and experience working with data in a business context are desirable. Candidates should have excellent analytical and quantitative skills (evidenced by a 2:1 or above in a quantitative degree such as Engineering, Maths, Economics or Finance), be a great problem solver, be highly driven and proactive, want to create impact, be an effective communicator able to convey points to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and be meticulous with a methodical approach to work. Technical skills: proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and SQL is a plus. Candidates must pass a quantitative-based test to proceed with the application process. Start date: immediate.
