The Goldman Sachs EMEA Women in Banking Academy is an interactive 2-day insight programme, open to all degree backgrounds, giving all students in their penultimate year of studies the opportunity to learn more about the Investment Banking industry through hands-on experience. It allows participants to learn more about Seasonal Associate, Spring Program, Summer Analyst, and Work Placement/Off-cycle opportunities at Goldman Sachs, with skill-building workshops, group activities, and networking. Participants discover the range of career opportunities across Investment Banking, build insights into various functions and responsibilities, develop technical skills through interactive workshops, gain resume-enhancing skills and mock interview practice, and network with GS professionals. Prospective participants should demonstrate a keen interest in an Investment Banking career through initial work experience or an internship in the broad Financial Services industry (Investment Banking, Financing, Consulting, Equity Research, Valuations, Transaction Services, Risk Management, Accounting). Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs delivers strategic advice and creative financing solutions including mergers, IPOs, and refinancing, working across developed and emerging markets, with the Capital Solutions Group structuring and executing complex financing and risk management solutions for corporate clients, pension funds, financial sponsors and governments.
